QUALIFICATIONS
- Grade 12
- Code EC / 14 Drivers License
SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in civil and road maintenance work
- Medically fit
- Ensure work is executed safely and according to procedures
- Due to Care and Maintenance environment person must be able to work independently
JOB OBJECTIVES
In this role you will be responsible to the Co-ordinator (Mechanical) for the following:
- Operating different TMM`s like the Water Truck, Grader, Front End Loader, TLB,
Roller – compactor; Excavator, Tractor or LDV in an efficient and safe manner
- The operators are responsible for lifting and moving materials, tools or equipment around the plant or at a construction site as required
- Setting up and operating the Water Truck, Grader, Front End Loader, TLB, Roller – compactor, Excavator, Tractor or LDV
- When required the role supports the projects team in their duties
- Completing the pre use checklist prior to operation
- Active participation during the risk assessments
